Your Excellencies, Presidents of VECONAC Member Countries,
Distinguished Delegates, Honored Veterans, Ladies and Gentlemen,
As President of VECONAC 2026, it is my great honor and privilege to extend my warmest welcome to all delegates and participants attending the upcoming 38th Executive Board Meeting and the 25th General Assembly, graciously hosted by the Cambodian Veterans and Pensioners Association (C.V.P.) in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This important gathering reflects our enduring commitment to strengthening solidarity, friendship, and cooperation among the veterans' organizations of ASEAN. For more than three decades, VECONAC has remained a respected regional platform dedicated to preserving the legacy of our veterans while contributing to peace, stability, sustainable development, and the well-being of veterans and victims of war throughout our ASEAN community.
As we meet in Phnom Penh, let us reaffirm our shared vision through constructive dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and closer cooperation. I am confident that our deliberations will produce meaningful outcomes that will further strengthen VECONAC and enhance collaboration among all Member Countries for the benefit of present and future generations.
As President of VECONAC 2026, I also express my sincere appreciation to the Cambodian Veterans and Pensioners Association (C.V.P.), the Royal Government of Cambodia, and the Organizing Committee for their excellent preparations and warm hospitality. I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to all Member Associations, Observer Organizations, partners, and distinguished guests for your continued friendship, valuable support, and steadfast commitment to the ideals of VECONAC.
I wish all delegates a productive meeting, rewarding fellowship, and a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Together, let us continue to honor the sacrifices of our veterans while strengthening the bonds of unity, mutual respect, and cooperation in building a peaceful, resilient, and prosperous ASEAN Community.
