The land of smiles is home to 66 million people with Bangkok as its capital. Popular for its tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha, the capital Bangkok offers a great shopping experience from the likes of Chatuchak market, Platinum Mall and MBK shopping mall.
Visit Bangkok’s most famous landmark, the dazzling and spectacular Grand Palace that showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people with its beautiful architecture. Enjoy nature in the jungle-clad landscapes of Khao Yai National Park with an elephant ride. Tourists can sample Thai Fruit from a street market, ride a traditional ox-cart through rice fields, have a farm lunch and admire the waterfall.
The people of Thailand are well known for their warmth, smiles and hospitality to foreigners and tourists. The Thais hold their monarch in high esteem and any show of disrespect is an offence.
